About Us

The 100 Companies is a national publishing network created by journalists and PR professionals to meet the needs of businesses and readers in today’s fast-paced digital world.

With traditional media outlets downsizing staffs and news spaces shrinking, meeting clients’ demands for more and better media placements has become increasingly challenging. Veteran award-winning journalist and PR firm owner Chris Schroder realized there was a viable solution to the problem – establishing a PR publishing platform.

Recognizing the need for a concise weekly eNewsletter focusing on Atlanta, Chris and the SPR Atlanta team developed The Atlanta 100, now sent to 37,000 readers weekly. Taking into account today’s Twitter-influenced attention span, each issue features exactly 100-word articles and exactly 100-second videos on topics of intrigue.

Schroder presented SPR Atlanta’s success with The Atlanta 100 to the PRSA Counselors Academy 2015 and PRSA International Conference in 2016. The response from the attendees was dramatic and instantaneous. Based on their response, The 100 Companies is expanding to other markets in 2016.
